WE ARE

The Portland Metro Chapter of Let’s Kick ASS (AIDS Survivor Syndrome); a national grassroots movement of HIV/AIDS long-term survivors, both positive and negative, men and women, honoring the unique and profound experience of living through the AIDS epidemic.

We are dedicated to reclaiming our lives, ending isolation, and building a meaningful future.

We are visible through member organized activities, events, advocacy and activism. We work to grow the movement through our membership and supportive partnerships.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
We host informal and structured social events, to have fun, create friendships and make connections
HEALTH & WELLNESS
We encourage positive social, physical and mental health by facing the reality of AIDS survivor syndrome
VISIBILITY AND VOICE
We create visibility and voice for HIV/AIDS long-term survivors at our own activities and at those organized by others
ADVOCACY AND ACTIVISM
We undertake advocacy and activism with service-providing agencies, the news media and other institutions
COMMUNITY SERVICE
We create purpose and meaning through volunteer activities

Let’s Kick ASS (AIDS Survivor Syndrome) – Portland is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. LKA is the largest group in the world devoted to and for the benefit of long-term survivors issues and needs.
